Summary
The Online Services Representative plays a very important role in the on-boarding of new Global Payments clients and the support and servicing of existing clients in a multi channel global environment.
This position is responsible for:
- Receiving applications from prospective Global Payments clients
- Collecting all the necessary KYC / Compliance documents and information in a timely manner
- Pricing the account for activation
- Assisting with post-activation client activities including trade walkthroughs, processing trades, setting up pay types for inbound funds
The successful incumbent takes pride in the exceptional level of client service they offer. You are an analytical multi-tasker, you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy problem solving and thrive in a fast-paced, high volume, global environment (24/6).
Essential Responsibilities
· Receive applications from prospective clients, perform account checks in a timely manner, confirm that all received information meets regulatory requirements, and prepare client files for activation
· Audit all new accounts (individual & business), and move them through to be activated
· Maintain current knowledge as it pertains to account requirements, and apply this knowledge accurately and consistently to ensure our client information is compliant.
· Provide superior client service to our clients via telephone, email, and Live Chat
· Understand and apply strict Compliance and Risk Management guidelines and apply any changes in these requirements
· Perform administrative functions as required
· Manage a high volume of information in a fast-paced environment, with a concentrated goal of same-day auditing and activation of new accounts
· Keep client information current in secure Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Qualifications and Requirements
· Some post-secondary education – preferred.
· Minimum 2 years of work experience in a field that requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Minimum 1 year of work experience within the financial services industry.
· Foreign exchange experience - preferred.
· Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office – SharePoint and Dynamic CRM - an asset.
· Excellent and proven client service, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to assimilate and apply new job-related information in a timely manner.
· High level of comfort working in an ever-changing environment that utilizes varied technical programs, and remain focused on a specific task for an extended period of time
